​General (co-) Chair of over 30 International Conferences including the International Joint Conference on Neural Networks, IJCNN-2013 , Dallas, TX, USA, 23rd International Conference on Machine Learning Applications (ICMLA–2024), Miami, USA, 32nd International Conf. on Artificial Neural Networks (ICANN-2023), Crete, Greece, 26-29 Sept. 2023, a series of IEEE Conferences on Evolving and Adaptive Intelligent Systems (EAIS) starting in 2006 in the Lake District, UK; IEEE Symposium on Deep Learning (within the Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence, SSCI) starting 2017 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA and IEEE Symposium on Evolving and Adaptive Learning Systems (EALS) within SSCI starting 2014 in Orlando, FL, USA. Co-chair of workshops at leading conferences such as NeurIPS (2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023) on Human-Centred AI, ICML 2020, ICCV-2023 on Deep Fake Analysis and Detection (with a Challenge on the same topic), PerCom 2022 - 2025 on Pervasive and Resource constrained AI - PerConAI, at DALI2019, ELLIS-HCML 2021 and 2023.​
